Warranty & Returns Policy

 

At Baby Kids Store, we want you and your little ones to be completely satisfied with every purchase. We understand that sometimes issues arise, and our goal is to resolve them as quickly and easily as possible.

Consumer Guarantees

In Australia, when you purchase an item, you are entitled to certain consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. We are committed to honouring these guarantees and will assist you if your goods:

  • Are faulty or become faulty through no fault of your own.
  • Are not fit for the stated purpose.
  • Do not match the description or sample provided.
  • Arrive with defects that were not obvious during dispatch.

12-Month Warranty

Items purchased from Baby Kids Store come with a minimum 12-month warranty. In some cases, the manufacturer’s warranty may extend beyond this period. As we work with premium suppliers, the final warranty decision is often assessed by the manufacturer's technical team to ensure the highest standards.

How We Resolve Issues

  • Minor Faults: If a product has a minor failure (e.g., a part that can be easily replaced or repaired), we may choose to offer a free repair, a replacement part, or a partial refund.
  • Major Faults: If the defect is major, you are entitled to a replacement, a full refund, or a store credit.

Warranty Exclusions

Please note that our warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by improper handling (including opening packaging roughly).
  • Failure to follow assembly or installation instructions.
  • Damage caused by unattended children or pets.
  • Normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage from use.
  • Commercial use of non-commercial equipment.

Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items

We do our very best to ensure your order arrives perfectly. However, if an issue occurs, please contact us immediately so we can fix it.

  • Damaged on Arrival: If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 5 business days of delivery. You must provide photos or a short video of the damage so we can process a resolution with our couriers and suppliers.
  • Incorrect Item: If you receive the wrong item, please notify us within 5 days. We will arrange a return label for the incorrect item and dispatch the correct one promptly. The item must be returned in its original packaging with all accessories.
  • Missing Parts/Items: Please check your delivery upon arrival. If an item is missing, notify us within 7 days of dispatch. Note that some larger orders may be split into multiple deliveries with individual tracking numbers.

How to Lodge a Claim

To start a return or warranty claim, please contact our support team at support@babykidsstore.com.au.

To speed up the process, please include:

  1. Your Order Number.

  2. A description of the issue.

  3. Photos or Video of the fault or damage (this is strictly required by our suppliers to approve any claim).

Our team will review your claim and guide you through the next steps. Please do not return any items until you have received a Return Authority and the correct return address from our team.
